Mökille saareen pääsimme autolla jäätietä pitkin. Jää oli noin 25-30 cm paksuista. Tuntui hassulta ajaa autolla ja kävellä samaa reittiä, mitä kesäisin ajelemme moottoriveneellä. Saaressa oli lunta niinkuin muuallakin. Mökin ikkunat olivat jäässä. Ihmekös se, kun ulkonakin oli -10 astetta ja hurjan kylmä tuuli. Pilkkiminen ei tuottanut tulosta tällä kertaa.---
We drove by car to the cottage on the island. The ice was 25-30 cm thick. It was a funny feeling to drive and walk right there where one travels by a motor boat during the summer months. There was plenty of snow on the island. The cottage windows were frozen. No wonder really with -10 degrees and cold wind outside. Ice fishing was not successful this time.
