Ikivanha tilkkutyyny - An ancient patchwork cushion

I think my daughter must have been on the first grade when she wanted to sew a patchwork cushion for me. At the time we had loads of patchwork material left from some other projects, so we sat down and made one. It turned out to be my favorite cushion cover ever. The colors don't really match, but since all the shades are muted, the end result is rather pleasing to the eye. I guess it is just those muted shades, why this fav cushion is so easy to combine with almost any other cushion covers. It somehow always finds its place.

I am so happy, the sun keeps shining... What a spring we have!
