Snow drops

Viikonlopun reitillä oli aika paljon näitä kukkia! Mitä lie ovatkaan, mutta ne ovat aina ensimmäisiä kevään tullen. Narsissitkaan ei ole pahasti jäljessä... muutaman viikon sisään viimeistään alkavat nekin kukkia. Jos tässä nyt ei mitään takatalviyllätystä tule, niin taidettiin siirtyä suoraan syksystä kevääseen. Muutama satunnainen kylmä päivä ei tehnyt talvea.

Nyt takaisin kirkkohistorian pariin... Trenton kirkolliskokous yritti palauttaa uskonpuhdistajat takaisin ruotuun ja sitä rataa.

There were lots of snowdrops in the forest on Sunday! They are always the first flowers blooming in the spring.The daffodils are on their way too... it does not take more than a week or two that they begin blooming, too. If we won't be surprised by late winter, it seems as if we have skipped it entirely. Those few exceptional cold days don't really count for an official season.

Now back to the church history... The Council of Trent tried to return the Reformers back to the straight path, and so on.
