Olin oikeassa hortensian suhteen. Parvekkeella on kuin onkin juuri sopivat olosuhteet sille. Ja kastelukin on pysynyt mielessä. Kukkia riittää! Hortensian takaa näkyy viimekesäiset laventelit. Annoin niiden kuolla ruukkuihinsa syksyllä... Olin jo ihan varma, ettei niille enää voi tehdä mitään, mutta niin ne näyttävät nyt kuitenkin jollakin tapaa virkoavan. Muutama kuolleelta näyttänyt oksa vihertää ja juurakon keskeltä pilkistää hieman uutta kasvustoa. Jos ne selviävät tästä kesästä, lupaan pitää niistä asianmukaista huolta syksyllä.

I was right concerning the hydrangea. The balcony is the perfect place for it. I have even remembered to water it (more or less) regularly. As you see, it's blooming!!! If you look carefully you can see two lavender plants behind it. They kind of died during the winter. Kind of only, because now they seem to cheer up a little. Few dead looking sprigs have started to grow some green leaves. If they manage to come properly alive this summer, I promise to take care of them properly at the fall.
One more nice thing. I found in Decor8 blog a link to Hearthome magazine. You can read the entire mag online! It's full of beautiful photos. If you like decoration, it's definitely worth of looking at.
