Lopultakin on parvekekalusto maalattu valmiiksi! Saimme kalusteen tyynyineen ystäviltä, jotka muuttivat muualle. Värin valinta oli aika huti, mutta ruskeat tyynyt pelastavat tilanteen. Nyt silmä on tottunut tuohon haalean vaaleaan maitokahvin väriin. Normaalisti värihuti saa minut saman tien maalikauppaan uudestaan. Tällä kertaa päätin kuitenkin vain totutella. En nimittäin jaksanut edes ajatella, että joutuisin maalaamaan yhtään ylimääräistä kerrosta...
Sattui viikonlopuksi sellainen sää, että pystyttiin syömään melkein kaikki ateriat ulkosalla. Geraniat ei ihan yllä kuninkaallisten kasvihuoneiden tasolle, mutta kunhan ne tuosta hiukan kasvavat, niin ruukku ainakin täyttyy. Aika kohtuullinen toive, eikö? :-) Toinen on ylöspäin kasvavaa ja toinen roikkuvaa sortia, joten katsotaan, miten ne tuosta alkavat muotoutua.

Finally I am finished with painting of the balcony furniture! We got the furniture with cushions from friends who moved away. The choice of color was bit misled, but the dark brown cushions did rescue the situation. I think I am almost used to the cafe latte paint by now... Usually this kind of color mishaps make me paint a thing over again, but this time I thought sensibly that it's better just to take it as it is. To be honest, I just could not bear having to paint another extra round...
The weather was great for most part of the weekend. We ate almost all the meals at the balcony enjoying the summer feeling. My geraniums are surely not quite what the ones in royal greenhouses were, but I hope to cultivate them so that they at least grow to fill the pot. That's a moderate wish, isn't it? :-) One of them should grow upright while another one should hang... Let's see what happens.
