Tyttö päätti perustaa uuden blogin. Teemana on askartelu ja (yllätysyllätys) sisustus. Siellä on jo useampi projekti esillä. Kuvan taulu on esimerkki yhdestä viimeisimmistä maalausprojekteista. Hän valitsi hauskat sanat noiden nuolien väleihin, eikö? En tiedä, kuinka pitkään enää kelpaan askartelukaveriksi, mutta aion kyllä tsempata ja sponsoroida tätä blogi-ideaa niin paljon kuin ehdin. Askartelu on hyvää vastapainoa pitkille koulupäiville, loputtomalle latinan sanojen pänttäämiselle ja monimutkaisille matematiikan yhtälöille. Luovia aineitahan ei täällä kouluissa ole nimeksikään. Jos teillä on teini-ikäisiä, askarteluintoisia tyttöjä kotona tai tuttavapiirissä, niin vinkatkaahan eteenpäin, että blogi pääsee hyvään alkuuun!

Our daughter got an idea to make a new blog for herself. She writes about crafts and decoration. She has posted several fun projects already. The photo above is one of the paintings we made recently. I found her selection of words between the arrows amusing and so teeny! I'm not sure how long I'll be allowed to participate in her projects, but my plan is to encourage and support her blogging as much as I can. Doing crafts is such a great way to balance long school days, endless memorization of Latin words and all those crazy math exercises... The schools do not score on creative subjects here. If you have any teeny girls around, please, pass the link on so that our teeny crafter can build a great audience for her blog!
