Kukkien sekoitus - Mixing flowers

Ostin viikonlopun kunniaksi muutaman yksittäisen kukan ja leikkasin ne sopivan pituiseksi ja tökkäsin pieneen kannuun. Helpolla tuli syksyinen kukka-asetelma sohvapöydälle. Valkoiset kurpitsat kestivät juuri tarpeeksi pitkään, että päästiin pyhäinpäivän yli. ;) Lämpimässä sisäilmassa ne eivät todellakaan ole ihan ikuisia, vaikka ulkona selviävätkin aika pitkään. Ikean vaniljantuoksuiset kynttilät ovat myöskin jokasyksyinen juttu. Se onkin melkeinpä ainoa huonetuoksu, mikä tuntuu nenään hyvältä. Muut tuoksuvat jutut saavatkin yleensä jäädä kauppaan. 

Pesukone on temppuillut viime päivät. Nyt se sitten jumittui keskelle ohjelmaa... Toivottavasti siinä ei ole kovin kummallista vikaa! Ja onneksi rummussa ei ole mitään kovin herkkää pestävää. Kun laitoin koneen pyörimään vaihtoehtoina olivat untuvatakki, villasukkapyykki tai värilliset pyyhkeet. Mikä helpotus, että jumissa ovat vain ne pyyhkeet! Kävi korjauksen kanssa miten kävi, ne kyllä saa pestyä entiselleen, kunhan vaan luukun saa avattua.

I bought few individual stems of flower, simply cut them into right lenght and sticked them into a small pitcher... That was quite an easy-to-make flower arrangement for the coffee table. The white pumpkins have been keeping well, but are now coming to their end. Their lifetime is not as long inside as it is outside. The vanilla scented candles from Ikea are my every year favorite. Actually they are pretty much the only scent I approve for candles at home. Other scents I happily leave for other customers to buy.  ;)

Our washing machine has not been very cooperative lately. Now it got stuck in the middle of a cycle... Hopefully, it turns out that it is just some minor problem! I'm happy though that there's nothing sensitive in the drum right now. When I started the machine the options were a down jacket, a load of wool socks or colored towels. What a relief, that the problem occurred with those towels! Whether fixing it works out or not, they can be easily re-washed without any further problems once the door goes open...
