Brysselin keskustaan ei kyllästy ikinä. Hassua siinä on, että päivänvalossa ja iltavalaistuksessa tuntuu kuin olisi kaksi erilaista kaupunkia. Tunnelma muuttuu heti, kun pimeys laskeutuu. Lauantaina satoi melkein koko illan, mutta yhtäkaikki, kaupunki on aina yhtä ihana. Sateessa on jopa oma viehätyksensä, kun valot heijastuvat jopa mukulakivikatujenkin pinnasta.
Päästiin kahdestaan kaupungille, kun tyttö oli kutsuttu yökylään. Syötiin vakkariherkkuja, joten ei tarvinnut edes selailla ruokalistaa ennen tilaamista. Tutut tarjoilijat, ystävällinen palvelu ja takuuvarmasti herkullinen ruoka. Ja oltiin maailman parasta seuraa toisillemme. Mitä sitä muuta voisi toivoa? ;-)

I never get bored with the center of Brussels. It's funny, but during the day light and in the dark, it seems like it was two different cities. The atmosphere changes immediately when the evening falls. It was raining in the Saturday evening, but then even the cobble stone streets reflect the lights...
It was just the two of us on Saturday evening, because our daughter had been invited to stay at her friend's place. We ate in our favorite place and did not even need to look through the menu before deciding what to order. We had the best food, and we were the best company for each other. What else could you hope for? ;-)
