Golden leaves and a promise of snow

I always try to manage to make a walk at the riverside when traveling to Turku. That's my favorite scene in Finland. While I was walking yesterday to the university for some research group seminars I ate a sandwich filled with salmon, dill and some sort of cream cheese. It tasted incredible, but probably contained sufficient amount of calories for the entire day! One more thing that I like is that the department of theology is located in a historical building just behind the church. Old buildings have so much more ambience than the new ones. At lunch time when I took these photos the sun was shining bright. It felt quite special, because one can't take the sun for granted at this time of the year in the North. In the evening, however, it turned so cold that I'm starting to believe that we might even see some snow later this week.
