Tämä viikko on ollut koululaisten syyslomaa. Sisko tuli perheineen käymään, joten pidettiin aikuisetkin sen verran vapaata kuin vain oli mahdollista. Oli ihana olla yhdessä! Ei suunniteltu kovin paljon mitään erityistä, vaan pääpaino oli ihan yksinkertaisesti siinä parhaimmassa, eli yhdessä olemisessa. Lapset pääsivät uiskentelemaan, puistoon ja hiukan käytiin kaupungillakin, mutta ei mitään suurta paikasta-toiseen-turistirientoa kuitenkaan. Siskon kanssa tietysti hiukan kierreltiin kauppoja muutamaan otteeseen ja naurettiin vedet silmissä milloin millekin jutulle. Tuli todella haikea olo, kun vieraita piti viedä lentokentälle. Tyttökin oli sillä aikaa "whatsäpännyt" vieraiden lähdettyä perheen yhteiseen chattiin: "Tää hetki on kaikista surkein..." Se on tosiaankin surkein juttu ulkomailla asumisessa, että perhe on aina liian kaukana.

The school kids have had a fall vacation this week. My sister with her family came to visit us, so also we adults took few days off. It was fun to spend time together! We did not plan a whole lot of activities. The goal was mainly to just hang out together and enjoy. The kids got to swim and play in a park. We made a little walking tour in downtown, but there was no rush from one place to another to see it all at once. My sister and I did few little shopping sprees. Well, that word is a bit exaggerating though, because both of us are quite sensible as it comes to using money. But we had really good sister time and laughed a lot at this and that. It was really sad moment to have to bring them back to the airport. When we were driving there our daughter had send a whatsapp message to the family chat: "This is the saddest moment of all..." Indeed it was. The fact that the family is too far away is definitely the hardest thing in living abroad.
