Old frames, old pictures, old times

There's something irresistable in the old picture frames! I keep collecting them like you already know by now... I thought this frame would make a great addition to the antique mirrow wall, because its bronze color fits so perfectly to the other frames. At home I noticed that actually that old, slightly kitschy flower print is quite cute. I think I'll keep it as it is at least for some time. It reminds me of summers in Finland. More precisely it made me think about my grandaunt and her husband in Western Finland. I have such sweet memories from visiting in their place as a child and teenager. They had always these flowers growing in tidy lines in front of their house. This elderly couple and their cute house was our favorite sleepover destination in that part of the country. Now I better stop this story here or I'll have to soon reach out for some tissues, because I just noticed that writing this makes me miss them too much.
