Tykkään kovasti La Pain Quotidien -kahviloista! Otettiin valmistujaisjuhlien jälkeen maanantai vapaaksi, joten päästiin aamupalalle kahdestaan. Räpsin muutaman kuvan kännykällä. Sisustus on aina tätä samaa tyyliä, kulunutta puuta, vanhan näköiseksi kalkittuja seiniä... Leivät on ihan parhaita!
Kuulitteko muuten jo Ingeborg Rapoportista? Eilen Saksassa väitteli 102-vuotias nainen tohtoriksi! Juutalaistaustan vuoksi hän ei saanut aikoinaan suorittaa suullista osuutta väitöksestään. Todella koskettava kertomus! Tapaus oli symbolisesti hyvin merkityksellinen sekä naiselle itselleen, muille samalla tavalla kärsineiden muistolle ja koko yhteiskunnalle.

I love La Pain Quotidien cafes! We made the Monday after the graduation weekend a free day and decided to go for a breakfast just for two of us. I took few photos with my phone. The decoration is always like this, old looking wood and walls painted with natural looking chalk paint... And their bread is delicious!
Did you already hear about Ingeborg Rapoport? She managed her doctoral defense yesterday in Germany in 102 years of age! Due to her Jewish background she was denied the oral defense when she was young during the Nazi regime. It's a really touching story! The event had a huge symbolic meaning to her, the memory of all others who had suffered at that time, and even to the entire nation!
