Lupasin laittaa paremman kuvan sängynpäädystä, joten tässä tulee. Kangas on tuollaista tyttömäistä Paris-Fashion-Week-Kenkä-Koira-linjaa. Se on verhoilukangasta, joten sopi hyvin tähän projektiin laadultaan. Venyminen minimiä ja niin edelleen. Kivasti yhdistyi muistitauluihin, joita tässä kuvassa nyt ei satukaan näkymään kunnolla. Violettiin seinäänkin se näkyy sopivan, vaikka hieman sitä ehdinkin epäillä...
Tänään raivataan joulujutut kellariin, kuusi laitetaan parvekkeelle, mistä se on helppo pudottaa sunnuntai-iltana kadulle. Meille on kehittynyt aika hyvät kikat siihen, miten kuusen saa hivutettua alas kadulle, ettei tarvitse karistella neulasia rappukäytävään ollenkaan... Tarvitaan vain pitkä jatkojohto, muutama solmu ja joku kadulle katsomaan, ettei kukaan satu kävelemään alle. Oliskin paha kolauttaa joulun lopuksi jotakin kuusella päähän. Tai kuusen juurakolla. Multapaakku on nimittäin aika painava, varsinkin jos se sattuu tulemaan yllättäin yläviistosta. Siinä sitä menisi joulumielestä viimeisetkin rippeet.

I promised to show you a better photo of the headboard. The material is quite girlish as you see. It's meant for upholstering furniture, so it was a perfect match for this project. Now stretching, etc... you know what I mean, if you ever tried to get the pattern straight with, let's say, a piece of linen or cotton voilé... The color goes well together with the notice boards, and to my surprise, it works even with the purple wall!
It's time to clear up the Christmas decoration today! We'll place the tree on the balcony so that we can simply lower it down to the street on Sunday night. That helps not to have to clean up the stairway, because this particular tree has dropped needles since we brought it inside. With the years we have developed quite a technique for the "lowering of Christmas trees." You just need a long and strong cord. An electric extension cord works perfect... and somebody has to go down to the street and keep eye on the process so that nobody happens to get under the tree. Hitting somebody with it would definitely destroy all the rest of the Christmas feeling.
