Juokse porosein

 Kyllä siitä pahvista poron sai, kun kokoa vain pienensi huomattavasti. Tämä kuvassa oleva on n. 12cm korkea ja pysyy tukevasti pystyssä. Osina on siis vain vartalo, kaksi jalkapalaa, häntäpyörylä ja symmetrinen sarvipala. Paloihin leikkasin pienet lovet, yhdistin ne toisiinsa ja solmin nauhan kaulaan. Yksinkertaista ja toimivaa. Alemmassa kuvassa näkyy palojen muodot. Molemmin puolin maalattu pahvi on tosin hiukan haasteellista lapsen leikattavaksi saksilla, terävästä mattoveitsestä puhumattakaan... Eli hieman isommille sopiva jouluaskartelu.

There is a tiny little reindeer baby on my table today. It is perhaps 12cm tall. I used scissors and simply cut out the body, two leg pieces, one round tail and a symmetric horn piece. I made a little cut into each piece and the body, at the places where the parts come together, assembled them and tied a Christmassy ribbon on the neck. The second picture shows the shapes of the parts. Easy peasy, but not really for too small kids. The painted cardboard is rather hard to cut into exact shapes with scissors and the carpet knife is not a safe tool for children. A Christmas craft for bigger ones, thus.
